Happy Tuesday! The theme this week is basically something a younger you would have liked, that maybe you do not like now but would have loved then.
When I realized how long ago 16 was, I wanted to cry. So THANKS A LOT, whichever one of my Twinsies thought this up ;-)
I can tell you right now, ALL I wore all through junior high and high school was Revlon Cherries in the Snow.

It has been around since the 1950′s, and I think is one of only two(?) original shades that you can still buy. LOVE it. I may need o go buy it.
But, I wanted to see what I could do with what I had. I also loved tie-dye and the sort back then, though I was no hippie (I was one of the Aqua Net big hair girls, you know the ones that looked like you sprayed your hair with hairspray then stuck your head out of the window of a moving vehicle? Yeaaaaah. I’m not proud). But I have always liked shiny in all forms over the years, also.
This last weekend, I wanted to do a pink and black water marble. It turned out SO bad. Smudges galore. Which most were my fault for putting on topcoat too fast. So then I put some Northern Lights over it. Barf. However, I STILL have it on (now on Day 4) because it took so damn long. But I realized, this is probably perfect for the theme, because the pink looks a lot like CitS.
Soooo yeah. Not very pretty. And I had a problem with getting the water marbling to lay correctly near the cuticle, but that seems to happen to a lot of people.
I am quite sure my Twinsies have better results. Go see!
